This house has such character, as it dates back to the 1760’s, with its beautiful original beams and fireplaces. Using lots of warm tones and textures each room has a classic feel for a calming and relaxing home. The lighting in this project was so important as natural light in some of the original rooms was limited so we introduced wall lights, LED tape for a gentle ‘glow’, and table lamps. The ceilings were too low in the original part of the house to have ceiling lights. The house also benefits from Control 4 home automation (and you can even open and close the curtains and blinds by voice!) Super smart home.
Our favourite rooms to create were the Master Ensuite, Bedroom and Dressing Room. So elegant and timeless.
