Hygge was our brief – Pronounced “hoo-ga,” this Danish concept cannot be translated to one single word but encompasses a feeling of cosy contentment and well-being through enjoying the simple things in life.
Our client wanted the fireplace to be the centre of the space for customers to enjoy a coffee or a leisurely lunch. We used warm tones throughout and the blue within the Casamance wallpaper was just perfect for the space. The bar is located at the rear of the restaurant and is super compact yet super functional.
We incorporated lighting into the bespoke shelving which then could house beautiful plants and accessories to compliment the interior.
